Human Biomechanics Specialist 2

I've suffered from anxiety, eating and workout addictions before finding Functional Patterns. At 22, my wrestling injuries (whiplash, a concussion and torn intercostals among others) and dysfunctions were so bad I could barely get out of bed somedays. I tried yoga and powerlifting before I found Functional Patterns through wrestler Kyle Dake and social media.

My 1st Functional Patterns session with Johnny Neilson in Seattle focused on spinal positioning and tension which was unlike anything I had experienced before, even working with professional coaches. I found immediate relief and interest, and continued to pursue FP in MN, often driving hours to meet with Frida in St Louis Park.

I completed Human Foundations in 2017, followed by HBS 1 in 2019, and HBS 2 in 2021. Now, I enjoy pain-free wrestling, better sleep and reduced anxiety with a calmer internal environment, and am actively addressing my autoimmune disease through FP modalities.

I help people from all walks of life regenerate, and enjoy seeing the lasting changes made with Functional Patterns.  While corrective exercises are largely individualized, I appreciate the universal positive impact of FP applications on humans from 9 to 90 years old, regardless of their life experiences. I understand how to meet each individual  where they are and guide their FP progress accordingly.
