MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

The first step of the process is our simple self-massage techniques, Myofascial Release (MFR). MFR tools are inexpensive and accessible: a lacrosse ball, soft ball, medicine ball, and PVC pipe. MFR effectively targets your fascia, the connective tissue surrounding your muscles. MFR techniques help alleviate tension and tightness, leaving your body more mobile and pliable. These methods not only improve flexibility but also prepare you for transformative corrective exercises.

OUR PROCESS

CORRECTIVE EXERCISES

After using myofascial release (MFR) to release tension, we will teach you corrective exercises that target and re-tension your body to fundamentally change your movement and structure. These detailed exercises require proper attention and execution, to ensure regeneration of your body’s structure and movement, and not degeneration. Proper execution will lead to exceptional changes towards more athletic movement and posture.

Functional Patterns' dynamic exercises center around re-organizing newly found muscular connections, developed through corrective exercises. Once you’ve built the right muscular support and coordination you'll learn how to move dynamically, transferring your newfound movement capabilities to real-world activities and hobbies. This phase challenges your cardiovascular system, boosts muscle development, and enhances athleticism in a sustainable way.
